Laura Valentine – Q 2

Yes, I believe that Mr. Gatbsy is an extremely fascinating character in the book. I think his life story is interesting and the journey he had to becoming “Great Gatbsy” would be considered intriguing, especially to Nick Carraway who lives in the small town house next to Gatsby’s mansion. I think Nick’s view of Gatsby changed because at first Gatsby was a considered “old money” but he then was told that Gatsby was “normal” before inheriting Wilshires money. Nick’s view also changed because after he went to one of Gatsby’s legendary parties, he and Gatsby had very little communication at first.
